Anime Revolution Character Art

Anime Revolution (AniRevo) is Vancouver’s biggest celebration of anime, gaming, and Japanese culture - a convention that brings fans together every year with cosplay, panels, concerts, and creative contests. One of my favorite parts of the event has always been their mascot fanart contest, where artists get to reimagine AniRevo’s mascot, Senkaku Mei (Senmei), in their own style with different themes each year.

I’ve had the joy of joining in across multiple years, submitting artwork since 2018, and I plan on continuing this annual pursuit. Each year pushed me to grow as an artist while celebrating a community I love. Looking back, it’s fun to see how my style evolved as an artist!
